At Space Tech Center, our research is structured around 5 key areas that address the key challenges of space technology development 

1. Novel space-based applications
   Identifying novel applications and their requirements, covering those that are native to space infrastructures and those that will transition from terrestrial to non-terrestrial systems.
2. Non-terrestrial networks
   Design of satellite constellations and swarms for serving novel space-based applications.
3. Space robotics
   Design and development of platforms and control modules for space robotic applications
4. Spacecraft design and operations
   Design and development of spacecraft platforms, propulsion, and payload for commercial and scientific missions.
5. Space communications
   Design of protocols, components, and architectures for next-generation satellite communication systems and their integration with other non-terrestrial and terrestrial infrastructures.
